BATS BZX Exchange & BATS BYX Exchange
BATS operates two stock exchanges in the U.S., the BZX Exchange and the BYX Exchange, which currently account for about 12-13% of all U.S. equity trading on a daily basis. These exchanges compete with other prominent stock markets, such as the New York Stock Exchange and Nasdaq.
BATS Chi-X Europe
BATS Chi-X Europe, which became a Recognised Investment Exchange (RIE) in May 2013, is the largest European equities exchange by market share and value traded. BATS Chi-X Europe offers trading in more than 1,800 of the most liquid equities across 25 indices and 15 major European markets, as well as ETFs, ETCs and international depositary receipts.
BATS Options
BATS Options, an equity options exchange, was launched in February 2010. With equity options as a growing asset class for many investors, BATS Options brings innovation in technology and pricing to the equity options trading community.
BATS Listings
The BATS Exchange, or BZX Exchange, became a U.S. primary listing venue in December 2011, providing exchange-traded product (ETP) issuers with a new market to list their stocks.
